Jim is the guitarist for the world renowned Hot Club Swing band, Pearl Django, and has a professional music career spanning five decades. He attended the Guitar Institute of Technology (GIT), then earned his Master’s Degree of Arts in Education at Leslie College. After touring the US in various rock and pop bands, Jim began his 35+ years teaching career, and continues to work as Choir and Drama director for the Auburn School District. He has taught swing workshops at Wintergrass, Washington Acoustic Music Association, as well as Choir workshops with the Green River Music Educators Association.
