Fall End of Session Performances on December 5th, 6th, & 7th

Alina Turnipseed - Vocal

Russian-Israeli vocalist Alina has been involved in the performing arts from a young age. She recorded, toured Israel, and performed in festivals and private events, as well as making several appearances on the Russian-Israeli TV and radio.

Shortly after graduating high-school, Alina immigrated to the US to continue her musical development and started performing with several local latin/rock bands with which she performed in festivals, clubs, and private events.

Alina was trained as a CCM vocalist and classical pianist, and in recent years was immersed in the jazz world through her studies at Cornish College of the Arts, where she studied closely with Johnaye Kendrick, and Dawn Clement, and received her Bachelor’s degree.

Alina believes in teaching students to be well-rounded musicians by incorporating technique, ear-training, rhythm, theory, sight-reading, and improvisation, to name a few. Her multicultural upbringing and passion for traveling helps her connect with people around her.

When not singing or teaching, Alina can be found enjoying motherhood with her 2 sweet boys - Sebastian and Gabriel.
