The jam session is an important part of learning how to improvise. This ensemble is designed for teens to work on performance music together and prepare skills useful at jam sessions: learning a tune, stage presence/confidence in soloing, communicating the arrangement and tempo, counting in songs, keeping the form, trading fours, ending the tune.
Classes culminate with a session-end performance.
