Advanced level classes at Jazz Night School are designed to build upon a solid foundation of musicianship and prior jazz experience. Classes expand the student’s current skills and knowledge to enhance their ability to play and interpret the jazz language. Classes offer a challenging and innovative curriculum centered on a learn-by-doing approach. 

Our classes focus on jazz theory, ear training, improvisation, rhythm, and instrumental/vocal performance, with instructors who are among the finest musicians and educators in Seattle's vibrant jazz scene.   

Classes at Jazz Night School:

• Meet 90 minutes once a week for 10 weeks
• Live online via Zoom
• With real-time interaction between instructors and classmates   

All advanced classes are accepting new students. All advanced classes have an assumption of a particular skill or knowledge. If you are not sure if an advanced class is right for you, please schedule a skills assessment with our program manager for consultation and guidance.
