Intermediate Classes
Level up your playing!
Intermediate level classes at Jazz Night School are designed for students who have prior experience in various areas of musical study and are looking to further their knowledge and skills.
Jazz Night School’s intermediate classes take an innovative approach to music education, focusing on the skills needed to progress as a performing jazz musician. Classes are designed with practicality and learning success in mind, honing in on the specific musical concepts and skills jazz musicians use everyday in both practice and performance.
Our classes focus on jazz theory, ear training, improvisation, rhythm, and instrumental/vocal performance, with instructors who are among the finest musicians and educators in Seattle's vibrant jazz scene.
Classes at Jazz Night School:
- Meet 90 minutes once a week for 10 weeks
-
In person, on-site at Jazz Night School
- With real-time interaction between instructors and classmates
All intermediate classes are accepting new students. Most intermediate classes have an assumption of a particular skill or knowledge. If you are not sure if an intermediate class is right for you, please schedule a skills assessment with our program manager for consultation and guidance.
