In-Person Classes

Build a foundation!

Beginning level classes at Jazz Night School are a fun, innovative, and streamlined path into the world of jazz and improvised music.

Beginning level classes are open to any instrumentalist or vocalist, regardless of prior musical or jazz experience, and are designed to build jazz performance skills from the ground up. Prioritizing student learning and growth, we take a put-it-to-use approach with our beginning curriculum and hone in on the topics and skills most valuable to the beginning jazz musician.

Our classes focus on jazz theory, ear training, improvisation, rhythm, and instrumental/vocal performance, with instructors who are among the finest musicians and educators in Seattle's vibrant jazz scene.

Classes at Jazz Night School meet 90 minutes once a week for 10 weeks.

All beginning classes are accepting new students. If you'd like to learn more about classes or to set up an informational meeting, contact us!
