Renowned Seattle drummer and Earshot Jazz Instrumentalist of the Year nominee Tarik Abouzied is a multi-instrumental musician and educator known for his work with jazz, funk, and fusion projects including McTuff, Skerik Band, Happy Orchestra, Hardcoretet, and many more. He's taught hundreds of private students and led clinics at Cornish College of the Arts, Central Washington University, Idaho State University, Bellevue College, and K-12 programs across the country. Tarik's musical influences include Soundgarden, Carter Beauford, Chris Potter, Billy Kilson, Kneebody, Wayne Krantz, D'Angelo, Lettuce, Nate Smith, Snarky Puppy, and more.
